Premier/Gottlieb Stargate Stargate was released in March of 1995. It was designed by Ray Tanzer and the art work was done by Constantino Mitchell. One of the most beautiful machines you will ever see. Great backglass and cabinet art. The game is based on the movie, not the TV series. The game does not allow the ball to loop at the top of the playfield. Instead there are three vertical up kickers (VUK's) fed by four paths. Game play does not suffer because of them. The main toy is the glider that "flies" out from under the pyramid. Lots of multiball fun and fast gameplay with plenty of shots. Many consider Stargate Gottlieb/Premier's best pinball machine. _____________
